Things I May Have Forgotten to Mention

  • I came to work the other day and this was hanging in my cubicle.
It was painted in '73.
  • Last month, Tim got in a bike accident and separated his shoulder. He missed a week of work and his clavacle is going to stick up like a weird, crazy hump forever. (It's not protruding through the skin though, so that's a plus).
They don't know us by name at the GW Emergency Room... yet.
  • I've read 30 books toward my goal of 50 this year. Killing it. (For every one I've finished, I've bought three more.)
  • Walking home the other day from work, this happened:
  • Two weeks ago, we drove all the way to Philadelphia just to get a cheesesteak.
  • We've lived in this condo three years, but the owner decided he's selling our place, so come July we're out like George Michael.
Unrelated, gratuitous cat picture.
  • I took a ukulele class and learned how to play a song by the Moldy Peaches. Our teacher made the whole class go out together for Mexican food for lunch.
  • Sunday, the transmission on Tim's car died the death of deaths. We are officially carless city dwellers again for an as yet undetermined amount of time.
  • Last week, I was holding Mugi and he took a flying leap, resulting in this:
There was a lot of blood.
  • In 12 days we will have our 1-year wedding anniversary.
  • In 5 days I turn thirty.
  • In 10 minutes I will eat a bowl of ice cream.

In 4 days you get your cute little behind on an airplane and come see your Mama. :)

DC should not have trees on its streets.

I hope I get to meet Mugi someday.

I hope Tim's shoulder is all healed up.

In 15 minutes, I'm going to bed and eating some Pringles....

I AM SO EXCITED! HURRY UP AND GET HERE!!!

  2. I'm printing off that photo of Tim to hang on our fridge next to the photo of Darren in lipstick & eye shadow his freshman year. I believe I shall start a collection of awesome boy pictures!

Yayyyy! Sounds pretty exciting out there! I miss you both, and I'm glad you're still alive! =) Hope you find a new place to live soon. House-buying in Denver has been near impossible. *shrug* Best of luck!
